Christmas Hamper Drive 2024 | St George Indian Orthodox Church, Brisbane
In the spirit of giving this holiday season, the St George Indian Orthodox Church, Brisbane, has announced its annual Christmas Hamper Drive 2024, spearheaded by its youth organisation, OCYM. This charitable initiative aims to bring joy and support to those in need by donating hampers to the Mt Gravatt Community Centre.
With the motto derived from the Bible, “Give, and it will be given to you, in abundance” (Luke 6:28), the drive encourages everyone to contribute and share the festive cheer with the less fortunate.
Items Needed for Donation:The church is requesting the following non-perishable and essential items:
- Long life milk
- Tuna
- Cup noodles
- Lollies
- Baked bean tins
- Spaghetti tins
- Jam
- Roll-on deodorant
- Oats sachets
- Cereal sachets
- Tomato sauce
- Tinned ham
- Tin chunky soup
- Packet soup
- Wet wipes
All donations can be dropped off in the hamper located in the church foyer. The collection drive will continue leading up to Christmas, ensuring timely delivery to the Mt Gravatt Community Centre.
