Father’s Day Stall a Huge Success at SGIOC Brisbane

On Sunday, 14th September 2025, St George Indian Orthodox Church Brisbane (SGIOC) came alive with the aroma of freshly made Kerala parotta and beef curry as the MGOCSM youth team hosted their annual Father’s Day stall after Holy Qurbana.

The event was well received by the parish community, with many staying back to enjoy the special menu and share in the fellowship. The initiative not only created a joyful atmosphere but also raised funds to support youth activities and future parish projects.

Rev. Fr. Anish Mathew, vicar of SGIOC, personally thanked the MGOCSM team for their efforts and dedication in organising the event. He encouraged the congregation to continue supporting the youth in their initiatives and reminded everyone that MGOCSM organises similar stalls for Mother’s Day each year as well.
