Feast of St. Gregorios of Parumala Celebrated at St George Indian Orthodox Church, Brisbane | Holy Qurbana & Procession 2025
The faithful of St. George Indian Orthodox Church, Brisbane, gathered in prayer and joy to celebrate the Feast of St. Gregorios of Parumala on 2nd November 2025. The day’s celebrations began with a solemn Holy Qurbana led by our vicar, Rev. Fr. Anish Mathew, commemorating the life and intercessions of Parumala Thirumeni.
Following the Divine Liturgy, a Holy Procession was held around the church premises, with parishioners joining in heartfelt hymns and prayers. The atmosphere was filled with devotion as the community came together to honour the saint known for his humility, compassion, and deep spirituality.
The day concluded with a special blessing service, invoking God’s grace upon all families of the parish. The celebration reflected the unity and faith of the St. George Church community, inspired by the example of St. Gregorios of Parumala.
The parish extends its sincere gratitude to Rev. Fr. Anish Mathew, the altar assistants, choir, managing committee, and all volunteers who helped make this blessed occasion a memorable and spiritually uplifting one.
