Honouring Rev. Fr. Jacks Jacob – St George Indian Orthodox Church Brisbane

On the blessed occasion of the Feast of St George, held on 11th May 2025, St George Indian Orthodox Church Brisbane proudly congratulated Rev. Fr. Jacks Jacob on his election to the Diocesan Council of the newly formed Asia-Pacific Diocese.  As a gesture of appreciation and honour, a ponnada (golden shawl) was presented to Rev. Fr. Jacks Jacob by Mr Baby Kuriakose and Mr Abraham Kurian, who have been elected as the Malankara Association representatives from St George Indian Orthodox Church, Brisbane. Rev. Fr. Jacks Jacob is a former vicar of our parish and continues to be an inspiration through his dedicated service and leadership.
