Monthly Retreat at St George Indian Orthodox Church Brisbane

The St George Indian Orthodox Church in Brisbane is organising its monthly retreat, presented by the Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (OCYM), on December 7th, 2024. The event promises to be a spiritually enriching experience for all attendees, with a focus on the theme "Missio Dei" (Mission of God).

The retreat will begin at 6:30 PM with an evening prayer, followed by the retreat session from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The guest speaker for this special session is Mr Thomas K. Varughese, a retired scientist from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). His insights and reflections on the "Mission of God" are expected to inspire and resonate deeply with the participants.

Attendees can look forward to a meaningful evening of prayer, learning, and fellowship. Following the retreat, dinner will be served, providing an opportunity for community bonding and interaction.
