⁴⁴“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

⁴⁵“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a merchant seeking fine pearls,

⁴⁶who having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.

⁴⁷“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some fish of every kind,

⁴⁸which, when it was filled, fishermen drew up on the beach. They sat down and gathered the good into containers, but the bad they threw away.

⁴⁹So it will be in the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked from among the righteous,

⁵⁰and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

⁵¹Jesus said to them, “Have you understood all these things?”

⁵²He said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things.”

⁴⁴സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യം വയലിൽ ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ച നിധിയോടു സദൃശം. അതു ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ കണ്ടു മറെച്ചിട്ടു, തന്റെ സന്തോഷത്താൽ ചെന്നു തനിക്കുള്ളതൊക്കെയും വിറ്റു ആ വയൽ വാങ്ങി.

⁴⁵പിന്നെയും സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യം നല്ല മുത്തു അന്വേഷിക്കുന്ന ഒരു വ്യാപാരിയോടു സദൃശം.

⁴⁶അവൻ വിലയേറിയ ഒരു മുത്തു കണ്ടെത്തിയാറെ ചെന്നു തനിക്കുള്ളതൊക്കെയും വിറ്റു അതു വാങ്ങി.

⁴⁷പിന്നെയും സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യം കടലിൽ ഇടുന്നതും എല്ലാവക മീനും പിടിക്കുന്നതുമായോരു വലയോടു സദൃശം.

⁴⁸നിറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അവർ അതു വലിച്ചു കരെക്കു കയറ്റി, ഇരുന്നുകൊണ്ടു നല്ലതു പാത്രങ്ങളിൽ കൂട്ടിവെച്ചു, ചീത്ത എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞു.

⁴⁹അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ലോകാവസാനത്തിൽ സംഭവിക്കും; ദൂതന്മാർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെ വേർതിരിച്ചു തീച്ചൂളയിൽ ഇട്ടുകളയും;

⁵⁰അവിടെ കരച്ചലും പല്ലുകടിയും ഉണ്ടാകും.

⁵¹ഇതെല്ലാം ഗ്രഹിച്ചുവോ?” എന്നതിന്നു അവർ ഉവ്വു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

⁵²അവൻ അവരോടു: അതുകൊണ്ടു സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യത്തിന്നു ശിഷ്യനായിത്തീർന്ന ഏതു ശാസ്ത്രിയും തന്റെ നിക്ഷേപത്തിൽ നിന്നു പുതിയതും പഴയതും എടുത്തു കൊടുക്കുന്ന ഒരു വീട്ടുടയവനോടു സദൃശനാകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

²¹He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn’t it put on a stand?

²²For there is nothing hidden except that it should be made known, neither was anything made secret but that it should come to light.

²³If any man has ears to hear, let him hear.”

²⁴He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you; and more will be given to you who hear.

²⁵For whoever has, to him more will be given; and he who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.”

²⁶He said, “God’s Kingdom is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,

²⁷and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, though he doesn’t know how.

²⁸For the earth bears fruit by itself: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.

²⁹But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

³⁰He said, “How will we liken God’s Kingdom? Or with what parable will we illustrate it?

³¹It’s like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, though it is less than all the seeds that are on the earth,

³²yet when it is sown, grows up and becomes greater than all the herbs, and puts out great branches, so that the birds of the sky can lodge under its shadow.”

³³With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.

³⁴Without a parable he didn’t speak to them; but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.

²¹പിന്നെ അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: വിളകൂ കത്തിച്ചു പറയിൻ കീഴിലോ കട്ടീൽക്കീഴിലോ വെക്കുമാറുണ്ടോ? വിളകൂതണ്ടിന്മേലല്ലയോ വെക്കുന്നതു?

²²വെളിപ്പെടുവാനുള്ളതല്ലാതെ ഗൂഢമായതു ഒന്നും ഇല്ല; വെളിച്ചത്തു വരുവാനുള്ളതല്ലാതെ മറവായതു ഒന്നും ഇല്ല.

²³കേൾപ്പാൻ ചെവി ഉള്ളവൻ കേൾക്കട്ടെ.

²⁴നിങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു സൂക്ഷിച്ചു കൊൾവിൻ ; നിങ്ങൾ അളക്കുന്ന അളവു കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾക്കും അളന്നുകിട്ടും; അധികമായും കിട്ടും.

²⁵ഉള്ളവന്നു കൊടുക്കും; ഇല്ലാത്തവനോടോ ഉള്ളതുംകൂടെ എടുത്തുകളയും എന്നും അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

²⁶പിന്നെ അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: ദൈവരാജ്യം ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ മണ്ണിൽ വിത്തു എറിഞ്ഞശേഷം

²⁷രാവും പകലും ഉറങ്ങിയും എഴുന്നേറ്റും ഇരിക്കെ അവൻ അറിയാതെ വിത്തു മുളെച്ചു വളരുന്നതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു.

²⁸ഭൂമി സ്വയമായി മുമ്പെ ഞാറും പിന്നെ കതിരും പിന്നെ കതിരിൽ നിറഞ്ഞ മണിയും ഇങ്ങനെ വിളയുന്നു.

²⁹ധാന്യം വിളയുമ്പോൾ കൊയ്ത്തായതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ ഉടനെ അരിവാൾ വെക്കുന്നു.

³⁰പിന്നെ അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെ എങ്ങനെ ഉപമിക്കേണ്ടു? ഏതു ഉപമയാൽ അതിനെ വർണ്ണിക്കേണ്ടു?

³¹അതു കടുകുമണിയോടു സദൃശം; അതിനെ മണ്ണിൽ വിതെക്കുമ്പോൾഭൂമിയിലെ എല്ലാവിത്തിലും ചെറിയതു.

³²എങ്കിലും വിതെച്ചശേഷം വളർന്നു, സകലസസ്യങ്ങളിലും വലുതായിത്തീർന്നു, ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികൾ അതിന്റെ നിഴലിൽ വസിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം വലുതായ കൊമ്പുകളെ വിടുന്നു.

³³അവൻ ഇങ്ങനെ പല ഉപമകളാൽ അവർക്കും കേൾപ്പാൻ കഴിയുംപോലെ അവരോടു വചനം പറഞ്ഞുപോന്നു.

³⁴ഉപമ കൂടാതെ അവരോു ഒന്നും പറഞ്ഞതുമില്ല; തനിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു സകലവും വ്യാഖ്യാനിക്കും.

¹³You shall not have in your bag diverse weights, one heavy and one light.

¹⁴You shall not have in your house diverse measures, one large and one small.

¹⁵You shall have a perfect and just weight. You shall have a perfect and just measure, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.

¹⁶For all who do such things, all who do unrighteously, are an abomination to Yahweh your God.

¹³നിന്റെ സഞ്ചിയിൽ തൂക്കം ഏറിയതും കുറഞ്ഞതുമായ രണ്ടുതരം പടി ഉണ്ടാകരുതു.

¹⁴നിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ മുറുക്കവും ഇളപ്പവുമായ രണ്ടുതരം പറയും ഉണ്ടാകരുതു.

¹⁵നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശത്തു നീ ദീർഘായുസ്സോടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ പടി ഒത്തതും ന്യായമായതുമായിരിക്കേണം; അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ നിന്റെ പറയും ഒത്തതും ന്യായമായതുമായിരിക്കേണം.

¹⁶ഈ വകയിൽ അന്യായം ചെയ്യുന്നവനൊക്കെയും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു വെറുപ്പു ആകുന്നു.

¹Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

²“You, son of man, the Lord Yahweh says to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end has come on the four corners of the land.

³Now the end is on you, and I will send my anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations.

⁴My eye will not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.’

¹യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ,

²മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു യിസ്രായേൽദേശത്തോടു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അവസാനം! ദേശത്തിന്റെ നാലുഭാഗത്തും അവസാനം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

⁴എന്റെ കണ്ണു നിന്നെ ആദരിക്കാതെയും ഞാൻ കരുണ കാണിക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകൾ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

⁷Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

⁸Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts, you double-minded.

⁹Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.

¹⁰Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.

¹¹Don’t speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother and judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.

¹²Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?

¹³Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.”

¹⁴Yet you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

¹⁵For you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.”

¹⁶But now you glory in your boasting. All such boasting is evil.

¹⁷To him therefore who knows to do good and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin.

¹Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming on you.

²Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth-eaten.

³Your gold and your silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be for a testimony against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up your treasure in the last days.

⁴Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies.

⁵You have lived in luxury on the earth, and taken your pleasure. You have nourished your hearts as in a day of slaughter.

⁶You have condemned and you have murdered the righteous one. He doesn’t resist you.

⁷ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിന്നു കീഴടങ്ങുവിൻ ; പിശാചിനോടു എതിർത്തുനില്പിൻ ; എന്നാൽ അവൻ നിങ്ങളെ വിട്ടു ഔടിപ്പോകും.

¹³ഇന്നോ നാളെയോ ഞങ്ങൾ ഇന്ന പട്ടണത്തിൽ പോയി അവിടെ ഒരാണ്ടു കഴിച്ചു വ്യാപാരം ചെയ്തു ലാഭം ഉണ്ടാക്കും എന്നു പറയുന്നവരേ, കേൾപ്പിൻ :

¹⁴നാളെത്തേതു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ജീവൻ എങ്ങനെയുള്ളതു? അല്പനേരത്തേക്കു കാണുന്നതും പിന്നെ മറഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നതുമായ ആവിയല്ലോ.

¹⁵കർത്താവിന്നു ഇഷ്ടമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു ഇന്നിന്നതു ചെയ്യും എന്നല്ലയോ പറയേണ്ടതു.

¹⁷നന്മ ചെയ്‍വാനറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും ചെയ്യാത്തവന്നു അതു പാപം തന്നേ.

¹അല്ലയോ ധനവാന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ വരുന്ന ദുരിതങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം കരഞ്ഞു മുറയിടുവിൻ .

²നിങ്ങളുടെ ധനം ദ്രവിച്ചും ഉടുപ്പു പുഴുവരിച്ചും പോയി.

³നിങ്ങളുടെ പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും കറപിടിച്ചു; ആ കറ നിങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ സാക്ഷിയാകും; അതു തീപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ജഡത്തെ തിന്നുകളയും. അന്ത്യകാലത്തു നിങ്ങൾ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളെ ശേഖരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

⁵നിങ്ങൾ ഭൂമിയിൽ ആഡംബരത്തോടെ സുഖിച്ചു പുളെച്ചു കുലദിവസത്തിൽ എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ പോഷിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

⁶നിങ്ങൾ നീതിമാനെ കുറ്റംവിധിച്ചു കൊന്നു; അവൻ നിങ്ങളോടു മറുത്തുനിലക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

⁸Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

⁹Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

¹⁰But I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your thought for me; in which you did indeed take thought, but you lacked opportunity.

¹¹Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.

¹²I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.

¹³I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

¹⁴However you did well that you shared in my affliction.

¹⁵You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.

¹⁶For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my need.

¹⁷Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.

¹⁸But I have all things and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.

¹⁹My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

²⁰Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever! Amen.

⁹എന്നോടു പഠിച്ചും ഗ്രഹിച്ചും കേട്ടും കണ്ടുമുള്ളതു പ്രവർത്തിപ്പിൻ ; എന്നാൽ സമാധാനത്തിന്റെ ദൈവം നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും.

¹²താഴ്ചയിൽ ഇരിപ്പാനും സമൃദ്ധിയിൽ ഇരിപ്പാനും ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടു അനുഭവിപ്പാനും എല്ലാം ഞാൻ ശീലിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

¹³എന്നെ ശക്തനാക്കുന്നവൻ മുഖാന്തരം ഞാൻ സകലത്തിന്നും മതിയാകുന്നു.

¹⁴എങ്കിലും എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ നിങ്ങൾ കൂട്ടായ്മ കാണിച്ചതു നന്നായി.

¹⁵ഫിലിപ്പിയരേ, സുവിശേഷഘോഷണത്തിന്റെ ആരംഭത്തിൽ ഞാൻ മക്കദോന്യയിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടാറെ നിങ്ങൾ മാത്രമല്ലാതെ ഒരു സഭയും വരവുചിലവുകാര്യത്തിൽ എന്നോടു കൂട്ടായ്മ കാണിച്ചില്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങളും അറിയുന്നു.

²⁸But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said, ‘Son, go work today in my vineyard.’

²⁹He answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind, and went.

³⁰He came to the second, and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I’m going, sir,’ but he didn’t go.

³¹Which of the two did the will of his father?”

³²For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn’t believe him; but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. When you saw it, you didn’t even repent afterward, that you might believe him.
