²⁷As Jesus passed by from there, two blind men followed him, calling out and saying, “Have mercy on us, son of David!”

²⁸When he had come into the house, the blind men came to him. Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

²⁹Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.”

³⁰Then their eyes were opened. Jesus strictly commanded them, saying, “See that no one knows about this.”

³¹But they went out and spread abroad his fame in all that land.

²⁷യേശു അവിടെനിന്നു പോകുമ്പോൾ രണ്ടു കുരുടന്മാർ: ദാവീദ് പുത്രാ, ഞങ്ങളോടു കരുണ തോന്നേണമേ എന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പിന്തുടർന്നു.

⁴⁶They came to Jericho. As he went out from Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road.

⁴⁷When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”

⁴⁸Many rebuked him, that he should be quiet, but he cried out much more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”

⁴⁹Jesus stood still and said, “Call him.”

⁵⁰He, casting away his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus.

⁵¹Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?”

⁵²Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.

¹Then Job answered Yahweh:

²“I know that you can do all things,

³You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’

⁴You said, ‘Listen, now, and I will speak;

⁵I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear,

⁶Therefore I abhor myself,

⁷It was so, that after Yahweh had spoken these words to Job, Yahweh said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.

⁸Now therefore, take to yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept him, that I not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.”

⁹So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what Yahweh commanded them, and Yahweh accepted Job.

¹⁰Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before.

¹അതിന്നു ഇയ്യോബ് യഹോവയോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു:

⁷From the days of your fathers you have turned away from my ordinances and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says Yahweh of Armies. “But you say, ‘How shall we return?’

⁸Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In tithes and offerings.

⁹You are cursed with the curse; for you rob me, even this whole nation.

¹⁰Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be enough room for.

¹¹I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast its fruit before its time in the field,” says Yahweh of Armies.

¹²“All nations shall call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land,” says Yahweh of Armies.

¹²Beloved, don’t be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you.

¹³But because you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy.

¹⁴If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.

¹⁵But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil doer, or a meddler in other men’s matters.

¹⁶But if one of you suffers for being a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this matter.

¹⁷For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don’t obey the Good News of God?

¹⁸“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will happen to the ungodly and the sinner?”

¹⁹Therefore let them also who suffer according to the will of God in doing good entrust their souls to him, as to a faithful Creator.

¹⁵നിങ്ങളിൽ ആരും കുലപാതകനോ കള്ളനോ ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരനോ ആയിട്ടല്ല കഷ്ടം സഹിക്കേണ്ടതു; പരകാര്യത്തിൽ ഇടപെടുന്നവനായിട്ടുമല്ല;

¹⁶ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിയായിട്ടു കഷ്ടം സഹക്കേണ്ടിവന്നാലോ ലജ്ജിക്കരുതു; ഈ നാമം ധരിച്ചിട്ടു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തുകയത്രേ വേണ്ടതു.

¹⁷ന്യായവിധി ദൈവഗൃഹത്തിൽ ആരംഭിപ്പാൻ സമയമായല്ലോ. അതു നമ്മിൽ തുടങ്ങിയാൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സുവിശേഷം അനുസരിക്കാത്തവരുടെ അവസാനം എന്താകും?

¹⁸നീതിമാൻ പ്രയാസേന രക്ഷപ്രാപിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അഭക്തന്റെയും പാപിയുടെയും ഗതി എന്താകും?

¹Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.

²Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

³But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;

⁴nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks.

⁵Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.

⁶Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

⁷Therefore don’t be partakers with them.

⁸For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

⁹for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

¹⁰proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.

¹¹Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

¹²For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.

¹³But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.

¹⁴Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

¹ആകയാൽ പ്രിയമക്കൾ എന്നപോലെ ദൈവത്തെ അനുകരിപ്പിൻ .

²ക്രിസ്തുവും നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു നമുക്കു വേണ്ടി തന്നെത്താൻ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സൗരഭ്യവാസനയായ വഴിപാടും യാഗവുമായി അർപ്പിച്ചതു പോലെ സ്നേഹത്തിൽ നടപ്പിൻ

³ദുർന്നടപ്പും യാതൊരു അശുദ്ധിയും അത്യാഗ്രഹവും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ പേർ പറകപോലും അരുതു;

⁴അങ്ങനെ ആകുന്നു വിശുദ്ധന്മാർക്കും ഉചിതം. ചീത്തത്തരം, പൊട്ടച്ചൊൽ, കളിവാക്കു ഇങ്ങനെ ചേർച്ചയല്ലാത്തവ ഒന്നും അരുതു; സ്തോത്രമത്രേ വേണ്ടതു.

⁵ദുർന്നടപ്പുകാരൻ , അശുദ്ധൻ , വിഗ്രഹാരാധിയായ ദ്രവ്യാഗ്രഹി ഇവർക്കും ആർക്കും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെയും ദൈവത്തിന്റെയും രാജ്യത്തിൽ അവകാശമില്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

⁷നിങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ കൂട്ടാളികൾ ആകരുതു.

⁸മുമ്പെ നിങ്ങൾ ഇരുളായിരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോഴോ കർത്താവിൽ വെളിച്ചം ആകുന്നു.

¹¹ഇരുട്ടിന്റെ നിഷ്ഫലപ്രവൃത്തികളിൽ കൂട്ടാളികൾ ആകരുതു; അവയെ ശാസിക്ക അത്രേ വേണ്ടതു.

¹²അവർ ഗൂഢമായി ചെയ്യുന്നതു പറവാൻ പോലും ലജ്ജയാകുന്നു.

¹³അവയെ ശാസിക്കുമ്പോഴോ സകലത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു വെളിച്ചത്താൽ ബോധം വരും; ബോധം വരുന്നതെല്ലാം വെളിച്ചം പോലെ തെളിവല്ലോ.

¹⁴അതുകൊണ്ടു: “ഉറങ്ങുന്നവനേ, ഉണർന്നു മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നിന്നു എഴുന്നേൽക്ക; എന്നാൽ ക്രിസ്തു നിന്റെ മേൽ പ്രകാശിക്കും” എന്നു ചൊല്ലുന്നു.

¹As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.

²His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

³Jesus answered, “This man didn’t sin, nor did his parents, but that the works of God might be revealed in him.

⁴I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.

⁵While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

⁶When he had said this, he spat on the ground, made mud with the saliva, anointed the blind man’s eyes with the mud,

⁷and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.

⁸Therefore the neighbors and those who saw that he was blind before said, “Isn’t this he who sat and begged?”

⁹Others were saying, “It is he.” Still others were saying, “He looks like him.”

¹⁰They therefore were asking him, “How were your eyes opened?”

¹¹He answered, “A man called Jesus made mud, anointed my eyes, and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went away and washed, and I received sight.”

¹²Then they asked him, “Where is he?”

¹³They brought him who had been blind to the Pharisees.

¹⁴It was a Sabbath when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.

¹⁵Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. He said to them, “He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and I see.”

¹⁶Some therefore of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he doesn’t keep the Sabbath.”

¹⁷Therefore they asked the blind man again, “What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?”

¹⁸The Jews therefore didn’t believe concerning him, that he had been blind and had received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight,

¹⁹and asked them, “Is this your son, whom you say was born blind? How then does he now see?”

²⁰His parents answered them, “We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind;

²¹but how he now sees, we don’t know; or who opened his eyes, we don’t know. He is of age. Ask him. He will speak for himself.”

²²His parents said these things because they feared the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if any man would confess him as Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.

²³Therefore his parents said, “He is of age. Ask him.”

²⁴So they called the man who was blind a second time, and said to him, “Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.”

²⁵He therefore answered, “I don’t know if he is a sinner. One thing I do know: that though I was blind, now I see.”

²⁶They said to him again, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?”

²⁷He answered them, “I told you already, and you didn’t listen. Why do you want to hear it again? You don’t also want to become his disciples, do you?”

²⁸They insulted him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.

²⁹We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we don’t know where he comes from.”

³⁰The man answered them, “How amazing! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.

³¹We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, he listens to him.

³²Since the world began it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind.

³³If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”

³⁴They answered him, “You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us?” Then they threw him out.

³⁵Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of God?”

³⁶He answered, “Who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?”

³⁷Jesus said to him, “You have both seen him, and it is he who speaks with you.”

³⁸He said, “Lord, I believe!” and he worshiped him.

³⁹Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, that those who don’t see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”

⁴⁰Those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?”

⁴¹Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.

²അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനോടു: റബ്ബീ, ഇവൻ കുരുടനായി പിറക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം ആർ പാപം ചെയ്തു? ഇവനോ ഇവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

³അതിന്നു യേശു: അവൻ എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെങ്കിലും പാപം ചെയ്തിട്ടല്ല, ദൈവപ്രവൃത്തി അവങ്കൽ വെളിവാകേണ്ടതിന്നത്രേ.

⁴എന്നെ അയച്ചവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി പകൽ ഉള്ളേടത്തോളം നാം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാകുന്നു; ആർക്കും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുകൂടാത്ത രാത്രി വരുന്നു;

⁵ഞാൻ ലോകത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ലോകത്തിന്റെ വെളിച്ചം ആകുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

⁷നീ ചെന്നു ശിലോഹാംകുളത്തിൽ കഴുകുക എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു; ശിലോഹാം എന്നതിന്നു അയക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്നർത്ഥം. അവൻ പോയി കഴുകി, കണ്ണു കാണുന്നവനായി മടങ്ങിവന്നു.

⁸അയൽക്കാരും അവനെ മുമ്പെ ഇരക്കുന്നവനായി കണ്ടവരും: ഇവനല്ലയോ അവിടെ ഇരുന്നു ഭിക്ഷ യാചിച്ചവൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

⁹അവൻ തന്നേഎന്നു ചിലരും അല്ല, അവനെപ്പോലെയുള്ളവൻ എന്നു മറ്റുചിലരും പറഞ്ഞു; ഞാൻ തന്നേ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

¹⁰അവർ അവനോടു: നിന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവൻ :

¹¹യേശു എന്നു പേരുള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ ചേറുണ്ടാക്കി എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മേൽ പൂശി: ശിലോഹാംകുളത്തിൽ ചെന്നു കഴുകുക എന്നു എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു; ഞാൻ പോയി കഴുകി കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

¹²അവൻ എവിടെ എന്നു അവർ അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

¹³കുരുടനായിരുന്നവനെ അവർ പരീശന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

¹⁴യേശു ചേറുണ്ടാക്കി അവന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നതു ശബ്ബത്ത് നാളിൽ ആയിരുന്നു.

¹⁵അവൻ കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു പരീശന്മാരും അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു. അവൻ അവരോടു: അവൻ എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്മേൽ ചേറു തേച്ചു ഞാൻ കഴുകി; കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

¹⁶പരീശന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ശബ്ബത്ത് പ്രമാണിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു വന്നവനല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. മറ്റു ചിലർ: പാപിയായോരു മനുഷ്യന്നു ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള അടയാളങ്ങൾ ചെയ്‍വാൻ എങ്ങനെ കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു ഭിന്നത ഉണ്ടായി.

¹⁷അവർ പിന്നെയും കുരുടനോടു: നിന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു എന്തു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: അവൻ ഒരു പ്രവാചകൻ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

¹⁸കാഴ്ചപ്രാപിച്ചവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെ വിളിച്ചു ചോദിക്കുവോളം അവൻ കുരുടനായിരുന്നു എന്നും കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചു എന്നും യെഹൂദന്മാർ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല.

¹⁹കുരുടനായി ജനിച്ചു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ മകൻ ഇവൻ തന്നെയോ? എന്നാൽ അവന്നു ഇപ്പോൾ കണ്ണു കാണുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു അവർ അവരോടു ചോദിച്ചു.

²⁰അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ: ഇവൻ ഞങ്ങളുടെ മകൻ എന്നും കുരുടനായി ജനിച്ചവൻ എന്നും ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു.

²¹എന്നാൽ കണ്ണു കാണുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ല; അവന്റെ കണ്ണു ആർ തുറന്നു എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ല; അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പിൻ ; അവന്നു പ്രായം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ അവൻ തന്നേ പറയും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

²²യെഹൂദന്മാരെ ഭയപ്പെടുകകൊണ്ടത്രേ അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞതു; അവനെ ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു ഏറ്റുപറയുന്നവൻ പള്ളിഭ്രഷ്ടനാകേണം എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞൊത്തിരുന്നു

²³അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ: അവന്നു പ്രായം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു.

²⁴കുരുടനായിരുന്ന മനുഷ്യനെ അവർ രണ്ടാമതും വിളിച്ചു: ദൈവത്തിന്നു മഹത്വം കൊടുക്ക; ആ മനുഷ്യൻ പാപി എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

²⁵അതിന്നു അവൻ : അവൻ പാപിയോ അല്ലയോ എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല; ഒന്നു അറിയുന്നു; ഞാൻ കുരുടനായിരുന്നു, ഇപ്പോൾ കണ്ണു കാണുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

²⁶അവർ അവനോടു: അവൻ നിനക്കു എന്തു ചെയ്തു? നിന്റെ കണ്ണു എങ്ങനെ തുറന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

²⁷അതിന്നു അവൻ : ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; നിങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല; വീണ്ടും കേൾപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? നിങ്ങൾക്കും അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ ആകുവാൻ മനസ്സുണ്ടോ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

²⁸അപ്പോൾ അവർ അവനെ ശകാരിച്ചു: നീ അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യൻ ; ഞങ്ങൾ മോശെയുടെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ.

²⁹മോശെയോടു ദൈവം സംസാരിച്ചു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു; ഇവനോ എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

³⁰ആ മനുഷ്യൻ അവരോടു: എന്റെ കണ്ണു തുറന്നിട്ടും അവൻ എവിടെനിന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയാത്തതു ആശ്ചയ്യം.

³¹പാപികളുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന ദൈവം കേൾക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നും ദൈവഭക്തനായിരുന്നു അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്യുന്നവന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേൾക്കുന്നു എന്നും നാം അറിയുന്നു.

³²കുരുടനായി പിറന്നവന്റെ കണ്ണു ആരെങ്കിലും തുറന്നപ്രകാരം ലോകം ഉണ്ടായതുമുതൽ കേട്ടിട്ടില്ല.

³³ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു വന്നവൻ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവന്നു ഒന്നും ചെയ്‍വാൻ കഴികയില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

³⁴അവർ അവനോടു: നീ മുഴുവനും പാപത്തിൽ പിറന്നവൻ ; നീ ഞങ്ങളെ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ പുറത്താക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

³⁵അവനെ പുറത്താക്കി എന്നു യേശു കേട്ടു; അവനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ: നീ ദൈവപുത്രനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

³⁶അതിന്നു അവൻ : യജമാനനേ, അവൻ ആർ ആകുന്നു? ഞാൻ അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കാം എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

³⁷യേശു അവനോടു: നീ അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു; നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നവൻ അവൻ തന്നേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

³⁸ഉടനെ അവൻ : കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

³⁹കാണാത്തവർ കാണ്മാനും കാണുന്നവർ കുരുടർ ആവാനും ഇങ്ങനെ ന്യായവിധിക്കായി ഞാൻ ഇഹലോകത്തിൽ വന്നു എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞു.

⁴⁰അവനോടുകൂടെയുള്ള ചില പരീശന്മാർ ഇതു കേട്ടിട്ടു ഞങ്ങളും കുരുടരോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

⁴¹യേശു അവരോടു നിങ്ങൾ കുരുടർ ആയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു പാപം ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ: ഞങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപം നിലക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
