³⁰The apostles gathered themselves together to Jesus, and they told him all things, whatever they had done, and whatever they had taught.

³¹He said to them, “Come away into a deserted place, and rest awhile.” For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

³²They went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves.

³³They saw them going, and many recognized him and ran there on foot from all the cities. They arrived before them and came together to him.

³⁴Jesus came out, saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.

³⁵When it was late in the day, his disciples came to him and said, “This place is deserted, and it is late in the day.

³⁶Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat.”

³⁷But he answered them, “You give them something to eat.”

³⁸He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go see.”

³⁹He commanded them that everyone should sit down in groups on the green grass.

⁴⁰They sat down in ranks, by hundreds and by fifties.

⁴¹He took the five loaves and the two fish; and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves, and he gave to his disciples to set before them, and he divided the two fish among them all.

⁴²They all ate and were filled.

⁴³They took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and also of the fish.

⁴⁴Those who ate the loaves were five thousand men.

⁴⁵Immediately he made his disciples get into the boat and go ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he himself sent the multitude away.

⁴⁶After he had taken leave of them, he went up the mountain to pray.

⁴⁷When evening had come, the boat was in the middle of the sea, and he was alone on the land.

⁴⁸Seeing them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them, about the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea; and he would have passed by them,

⁴⁹but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out;

⁵⁰for they all saw him and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them and said to them, “Cheer up! It is I! Don’t be afraid.”

⁵¹He got into the boat with them; and the wind ceased, and they were very amazed among themselves, and marveled;

⁵²for they hadn’t understood about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.

³⁰പിന്നെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാർ യേശുവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നുകൂടി തങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തതും ഉപദേശിച്ചതും എല്ലാം അറിയിച്ചു.

⁴¹അവൻ ആ അഞ്ചു അപ്പവും രണ്ടു മീനും എടുത്തു സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തേക്കു നോക്കി വാഴ്ത്തി, അപ്പം നുറുക്കി, അവർക്കും വിളമ്പുവാൻ തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർക്കും കൊടുത്തു; ആ രണ്ടു മീനും എല്ലാവർക്കും വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.

⁴²എല്ലാവരും തിന്നു തൃപ്തരായി.

⁴³കഷണങ്ങളും മീൻ നുറുക്കും പന്ത്രണ്ടു കൊട്ട നിറച്ചെടുത്തു.

⁴⁴അപ്പം തിന്നവരോ അയ്യായിരം പുരുഷാന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു.

⁴⁵താൻ പുരുഷാരത്തെ പറഞ്ഞയക്കുന്നതിനടയിൽ തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ ഉടനെ പടകു കയറി അക്കരെ ബേത്ത്സയിദെക്കു നേരെ മുന്നോടുവാൻ നിർബന്ധിച്ചു.

⁴⁶അവരെ പറഞ്ഞച്ചു വിട്ടശേഷം താൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പാൻ മലയിൽ പോയി.

¹He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!

²It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

³Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.

⁴If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

⁵The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”

⁶The Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

⁷But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say when he comes in from the field, ‘Come immediately and sit down at the table’?

⁸Wouldn’t he rather tell him, ‘Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink’?

⁹Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.

¹⁰Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.’ ”

³⁴Yahweh said to Moses, “Take to yourself sweet spices, gum resin, onycha, and galbanum: sweet spices with pure frankincense. There shall be an equal weight of each.

³⁵You shall make incense of it, a perfume after the art of the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy.

³⁶You shall beat some of it very small, and put some of it before the covenant in the Tent of Meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be to you most holy.

³⁷You shall not make this incense, according to its composition, for yourselves: it shall be to you holy for Yahweh.

³⁸Whoever shall make any like that, to smell of it, he shall be cut off from his people.”

³⁴യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നീ നറുംപശ, ഗുല്ഗുലു, ഹൽബാനപ്പശ എന്നീ സുഗന്ധവർഗ്ഗവും നിർമ്മലസാംപ്രാണിയും എടുക്കേണം; എല്ലാം ഒരു പോലെ തൂക്കം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

²²“I will rise up against them,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and cut off from Babylon name and remnant, and son and son’s son,” says Yahweh.

²³“I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, and pools of water. I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” says Yahweh of Armies.

²⁴Yahweh of Armies has sworn, saying, “Surely, as I have thought, so shall it happen; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

²⁵that I will break the Assyrian in my land, and tread him under foot on my mountains. Then his yoke will leave them, and his burden leave their shoulders.

²⁶This is the plan that is determined for the whole earth. This is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations.

²⁷For Yahweh of Armies has planned, and who can stop it? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?”

¹⁵In these days, Peter stood up in the middle of the disciples (and the number of names was about one hundred twenty), and said,

¹⁶“Brothers, it was necessary that this Scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was guide to those who took Jesus.

¹⁷For he was counted with us, and received his portion in this ministry.

¹⁸Now this man obtained a field with the reward for his wickedness; and falling headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines gushed out.

¹⁹It became known to everyone who lived in Jerusalem that in their language that field was called ‘Akeldama,’ that is, ‘The field of blood.’

²⁰For it is written in the book of Psalms,

¹Now concerning things sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

²But if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he doesn’t yet know as he ought to know.

³But anyone who loves God is known by him.

⁴Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

⁵For though there are things that are called “gods”, whether in the heavens or on earth—as there are many “gods” and many “lords”—

⁶yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.

¹വിഗ്രഹാർപ്പിതങ്ങളുടെ കാർയ്യം പറഞ്ഞാലോ നമുക്കെല്ലാവർക്കും അറിവു ഉണ്ടു എന്നു നമുക്കു അറിയാം. അറിവു ചീർപ്പിക്കുന്നു; സ്നേഹമോ ആത്മികവർദ്ധന വരുത്തുന്നു.

³²Jesus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have continued with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.”

³³The disciples said to him, “Where could we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”

³⁴Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?”

³⁵He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground;

³⁶and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.

³⁷They all ate and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.

³⁸Those who ate were four thousand men, in addition to women and children.

³⁹Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.

³²എന്നാൽ യേശു തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ അടുക്കെവിളിച്ചു: “ഈ പുരുഷാരം ഇപ്പോൾ മൂന്നു നാളായി എന്നോടുകൂടെ പാർക്കുംന്നു; അവർക്കും ഭക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ഒന്നും ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവരെക്കുറിച്ചു എനിക്കു മനസ്സലിവു തോന്നുന്നു; അവരെ പട്ടിണിയായി വിട്ടയപ്പാൻ മനസ്സുമില്ല; അവർ വഴിയിൽവെച്ചു തളർന്നുപോയേക്കും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

³³ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനോടു: ഇത്ര വലിയ പുരുഷാരത്തിന്നു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുവാൻ മതിയായ അപ്പം ഈ കാട്ടിൽ നമുക്കു എവിടെ നിന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

³⁴“നിങ്ങളുടെ പക്കൽ എത്ര അപ്പം ഉണ്ടു” എന്നു യേശു ചോദിച്ചു; ഏഴു; കുറെ ചെറുമീനും ഉണ്ടു എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.

³⁵അവൻ പുരുഷാരത്തോടു നിലത്തു ഇരിപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചു,

³⁶ആ ഏഴു അപ്പവും മീനും എടുത്തു വാഴ്ത്തി നുറുക്കി ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ പക്കലും ശിഷ്യന്മാർ പുരുഷാരത്തിന്നും കൊടുത്തു.

³⁷എല്ലാവരും തിന്നു തൃപ്തരായി; ശേഷിച്ച കഷണം അവർ ഏഴു വട്ടി നിറെച്ചെടുത്തു.

³⁸തിന്നവരോ സ്ത്രീകളെയും പൈതങ്ങളെയും കൂടാതെ നാലായിരം പുരുഷന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു.

³⁹പിന്നെ പുരുഷാരത്തെ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചിട്ടു പടകിൽ കയറി മഗദാദേശത്തു എത്തി.
